Who are we?
Carolina Donor Services is the largest, non-profit organ donation and tissue recovery organization serving individuals in North Carolina and Danville, Virginia. We facilitate the recovery of organs and tissues that help thousands of people have a second chance at life and improve their quality of life. Carolina Donor Services provides public and professional education about donation so that North Carolinians can make an informed decision about registering to become an organ, eye and tissue donor, and bereavement information for grieving families.
Using Maryland’s model for The Decision Project, and partnering with our state team, Donate Life North Carolina; we are providing outreach and education by hosting, sponsoring, and/or participating in numerous community events throughout the year, such as:
• Linking Hands – National Donate Life Month
• National Donor Sabbath Services
• Community Food Drives
• Barber Shops and Beauty Salons Initiative
• Community Events/Festivals
